The Kissimmee Visitors Bureau (KVB) engaged TCDG Studios to create a suite of animated characters to be used for story telling targeted for the younger visitors and to foster eco-tourism in the Kissimmee Florida area. Our animators and story tellers came together and developed a story line that utilized two fictional Florida panther cubs - Kiss a female cub and her bother Mee. A story,"The Founding", was then crafted that explained how the cubs had been orphaned and that a wilderness ranger - Ranger Tom, took the cubs into his home and adopted the brother and sister. The three can be found on various adventures, highlighting the wilderness and natural beauty of the area. During their various adventures, the three meet up with other fictional animal characters who also befriend the two cubs.
Along with the character creation and various story lines, TCDG Studios developed for KVB for animated videos that depict the background of the cubs and some of their adventures. The first of these videos is titled: "The Founding". The studio then developed the video titled the "Camping Trip". Under development are two additional videos related to eco-tourism activities and destinations. The videos were created for multiple formats including mobile platforms, computer, and DVD.
TCDG Studios also developed an activity book that is widely distributed to all destination outlets for the younger visitor to the area.
This 16 page Activity & Coloring Book consists of stories, puzzles, word search, mazes, mad libs, code breakers, connect-the-dots, color-by-numbers, find-the difference, math substitution codes, word fill-ins, and other activities. All the games, graphics, booklet design, and layout was designed by the studio staff.
The third part of the KVB project was to develop a web based set of interactive games and downloadable activity sheets. TCDG Studios created the web based Discovery Zone. The site consists of interactive games, on-line coloring book, dynamic mad-libs, memory games, downloadable coloring book pages, and videos.
